2020 Tour Through Town - Not a traditional parade and no crowding along the streets expected

- Granville Police and Granville Township Fire vehicles will lead and escort the Tour.
Appalachian Air Force Fly Over on July 4th at 10:50 AM. Look to the skies for this patriotic salute to the community thanks to Kiwanian Craig Washka for organizing this amazing tribute. Thanks to the volunteers of THE Appalachian Air Force - Lead Pilot, Jeff Wheeler of Pataskala will be flying a Bellanca Super Viking, 300 HP Low Wing Single; Flanked by Greg Pfeil of West Jefferson in a Piper Aztec Twin and Chris White of Granville in a Beechcraft Twin Bonanza, the"T-Bone." Don't go too far, the group promises to make a second pass which you won't want to miss!
Home and Neighborhood Decoration Contest July 3rd at 9:00AM. Decorate your home and encourage your neighbors to join you for this first ever Home and Neighborhood decorating contest. Decorate your home in the spirit of Independence Day and show your patriotic pride. To enter, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your name, address(s) and cell number by Saturday, June 27th. Judging will take place beginning at 9:00 AM on July 3rd. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place in 2 categories, Individual Home or Neighborhood (2 or more houses entered together). And if you missed the registration, you can enter your decorated home into the Photography Contest - see below!
Photography contest: “Show us your spirit in the Annual Photography Contest. Photos must be taken in Granville this year. Awards will be given in the following eight topics: ‘Patriotic Pet,’ ‘Patriotic People,’ ‘Decorated Bicycle,’ ‘Decorated House,’ ‘Decorated Storefront,’ ‘Friends or Family,’ ‘Granville 4th’ and ‘Granville in July’. Submission deadline is July 31 and full contest information is on the website at GranvilleKiwanis.org/photo.”

Everyone must pre-register for the parade. All entrants not pre-registered by June 20, 2019 and who would still like to be in our parade, will be assessed an additional $50.00 late-registration fee.
